When you first visit, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Web-Stat set cookies so that your visit is counted, and we ask whether you accept all cookies. If you choose essential only, we remove their cookies and stop setting them; that changes nothing about how the site works. You can change your mind at any time.

Change your cookie settings

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) tells us which pages are visited and how people find the site. It sets _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years, from your first page unless you choose essential only.

Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) lets us measure adverts on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people who have visited the site. It sets _fbp, which lasts three months, from your first page unless you choose essential only.

Web-Stat counts visits and shows us which pages a visit moved through. It sets its own cookie so that a return visit is not counted twice, from your first page unless you choose essential only.

These companies may process this data outside the EU under their own safeguards. If you choose essential only, at first or later, we stop Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel and remove their cookies from this site, and Web-Stat is not loaded again.

Your cookie choice, in your browser's local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. Metricool counts each visit with an image that sets no cookie, and if you choose essential only, Google Analytics still receives anonymous page requests that set and read nothing on your device. And when you arrive from a link — an advert or a newsletter, for example — the site notes where you came from in your browser's session storage, so that an enquiry you send can record it. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Neither is sent anywhere unless you send us an enquiry.
